|Story:||Video Monitoring Services of America LP, VMS a New York-based media-monitoring service has filed for liquidation under Chapter 7 of the federal bankruptcy code and laid off all its employees.
“The decision has been made after exhaustively evaluating many different options and with sadness for our loyal staff and customers,” according to a message on the VMS Web site. “At some point in the very near future a Trustee will be appointed to liquidate VMS. We anticipate the trustee will make future communications with customers.”
Although it is very sad to lose one of the pioneers of our news monitoring industry, we understand that monitoring must go on. Media watch, Inc. and our sister company Media Clips LLC in Los Angeles, are here to help those former VMS clients. Our entire team is activated and taking calls now to get tracking reports flowing before Monday. Call 314-646-7933 for immediate assistance.
